(Carson City, NV) - Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske is pleased to announce the appointment of Cadence Matijevich as her new Deputy Secretary of State for Operations.

As Deputy for Operations, Mrs. Matijevich will oversee the administrative functions of the Secretary of State’s office, including the agency’s budget, personnel management, information technology systems and facilities management.

Mrs. Matijevich brings a wealth of executive-level administrative and analytical experience having previously served as the Director of Government Affairs and Assistant City Manager for the City of Reno and as a management analyst for Placer County, California.

“With her extensive experience, Cadence is very well suited for this position,” says Secretary Cegavske. “We are excited to have her join our team.”
