(Carson City, NV; March 27, 2013) – Secretary of State Ross Miller reminds candidates running in 2013 municipal elections that the deadline to file the second campaign contributions and expenses (C&E) report for the year is 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013. All C&E reports must be filed electronically through the Secretary of State’s Aurora campaign finance disclosure database, which will then be immediately available on the website to the general public.

C&E Report #2 covers campaign contributions and expenses from March 9 to March 28. Candidates are required to file even if they received no contributions or spent any funds during the respective reporting periods. Filing deadlines for the remainder of 2013 election cycle are:

C&E Report #3: May 14, 2013 (for the period of March 29 through May 10)

C&E Report #4: May 31, 2013 (for the period of May 11 through May 30)

C&E Report #5: January 15, 2014 (for the period of May 31 through December 31)

The 2013 municipal election dates are April 2 for the primary election and June 4 for the general election.
